Hyundai’s Elantra has seen quite the makeover from when it first debuted in the market almost three decades ago. The compact car from the South Korean manufacturer has shown that there’s still always room for improvement, but that despite the many changes it has gone through, it is possible to keep consistent at one thing: staying elegant.
Classic and Modern
The 2016 iteration retains the sleek lines, now practically characteristic of this particular design. The perfect balance of sharp and soft features, from the grill to the side mirror lights all the way to the trunk of the body, exhibit a maturity and knowledge in the application of a classic, elegant touch to a highly modern machine.
The engine under the hood does not disappoint either with the Base trim level coming with a 1.8-liter inline-4 standard engine and a 148 horsepower rating and 131 lb.-ft. of torque. The Sport trim features a 2.0-liter four, with 173 hp and 154-lb.ft of torque.
Interior Comfort
The inside cabin is just as important as what is under the hood, of course. The driver and passengers will be glad to know that Hyundai has taken into account the need for a smart and practical use of seating space and storage.
The 2016 Hyundai Elantra is coming to Hyundai dealerships around Santa Fe. Set an appointment with one of them so you can see for yourself if this is the car for you.
